The third of three regional woodland owner short courses is on tap for next Saturday Aug 23rd in Knox County. UK extension forester Billy Thomas says they’ll help landowners develop a woodlands management plan. Whether fighting invasive species like kudzu and honey suckle or managing for the next timber harvest, Thomas says having a plan leads to success. Pre-registration for the event is requested by tomorrow, Aug 15.
