Posted on Aug 13, 2013They’re not there yet but researchers at UK’s Princeton Research and Education Center are making headway in dealing with “fragipan soils.” Dr. Lloyd Murdock explains the scope of the problem, talks about their progress thus far, and says that just a 10% improvement in crop yields on those soils could mean a $2 billion improvement in the ag economy over a ten year period.
