A special report on some research work utilizing two bi-products, poultry litter and gypsum a bi-product of energy plant scrubbers, that will be used as soil amendments to break down our ‘fragipan,’ a cement-like layer in soils that holds back plant growth.
UK soil scientist John Grove discusses how their research will attempt to break down the fragipan.
