Muhlenberg County Educator of the Year
Muhlenberg County Farm Bureau recognizes Ms. Leigh Ann Sherrod, vice principal at Muhlenberg South Elementary School as the 2016 Educator of the Year. Ms. Sherrod has supported the ag education events that have been offered to her school and has brought many agriculture educational opportunities to the students. We want to thank her for the dedication to her students and providing new and exciting learning occasions to the school. We appreciate the support of all the staff and students at Muhlenberg South Elementary.

Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles has proclaimed Sept.19-25 as Farm Safety and Health Week in Kentucky to encourage farmers and farm workers to put their health and safety first at all times. The theme for this year’s safety week is “Farm Safety Yields Real Results.”
