2015 Young Farmer District Fall Fling

 

Fifth District Young Farmer’s chairs, Zack and Tiffany Ison, hosted a 5th District Fall Fling with over 60 people in attendance at Devine’s Corn Maze in Harrodsburg.  More than 120 people enjoyed the festivities.  Young children enjoyed the bouncing pillows and animals, while others took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and visited the business displays. The evening ended with door prizes.

Beef cattle farmers in the tall fescue belt are eligible to take part in one of the largest initiatives ever undertaken to improve productivity, profitability and conservation benefits of grasslands in the eastern U.S. This program is also open to pasture-based sheep and goat operations.
