2015 Young Farmer District Fall Fling

 

Fifth District Young Farmer’s chairs, Zack and Tiffany Ison, hosted a 5th District Fall Fling with over 60 people in attendance at Devine’s Corn Maze in Harrodsburg.  More than 120 people enjoyed the festivities.  Young children enjoyed the bouncing pillows and animals, while others took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and visited the business displays. The evening ended with door prizes.

Webster County farmer Eddie Melton was re-elected today to continue serving as President of Kentucky Farm Bureau. Melton has been a member of the organization’s executive committee for 17 years. Also re-elected to their leadership roles are Shane Wiseman of Clark County as First Vice President and Larry Clark of Green County as Second Vice President.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation and the Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (KCARD) are proud to announce the launch of KCARD’s Kentucky AgriLegacy Solutions Program, a new effort designed to help Kentucky farm families navigate the farm transition process.
