2017 Harlan County Farm Bureau Communication Award
The 2017 Harlan County Farm Bureau’s Communication Award was presented to Bethany Moore who works for the Harlan Daily Enterprise. Don Miniard, President of Harlan County Farm Bureau, presented the award and check to Bethany at Harlan County Farm Bureau’s Annual Picnic on August 19, 2017. Bethany works hard to publish current and important agriculture and Kentucky Farm Bureau information.

When farmland goes out of production, it just doesn’t come back. Or if farmland is bought by investors outside of the rural community of which it is a part, the farmers, who have lived there, are no longer around to be a vital part of that community.
