CBOT futures closed strongly higher, led by the soybean market. By the close, old-crop corn actually posted the strongest gains on a percentage basis. Cattle futures closed lower with nearby feeder futures hit by the CBOT rally. Lean hog futures closed higher with April-forward LH contracts setting new contract highs.

CBOT futures closed narrowly mixed but favored price losses. Cattle futures closed mostly lower but mostly by no more than 30 cents/cwt. Lean hog futures closed lower and at/near the day’s lows; this came after setting some new contract highs.

Soybean futures closed higher while corn and wheat lost around two percent in old-crop contracts. Cattle futures closed strongly higher with some contracts making new contract highs. Lean hog futures beyond the February LH contract closed strongly higher.

CBOT futures closed strongly to sharply higher led by huge speculative buying in soybean and soybean meal futures. Cattle futures closed higher on support from Monday afternoon’s CATTLE inventory report showing tighter supplies. Lean hog futures closed higher except for the nearby February LH contract.

CBOT futures closed widely mixed with wheat and old-crop corn posting big losses. Live cattle closed moderately higher and feeder cattle posted big gains as corn prices fell. Lean hog futures closed narrowly mixed with nearby edging higher on strong cash fundamentals and a pickup in slaughter.

CBOT futures closed mixed the soy complex on the plus side and corn and wheat on the negative side. Cattle futures closed lower with feeders slightly outpacing live cattle. Lean hog futures opened steady but moved sharply lower in the first hour to make the day’s lows.

CBOT futures closed widely mixed with soybeans and soyoil losing ground to corn and wheat futures. Cattle futures gapped down on the open this morning and closed sharply lower. Lean hog futures closed mixed with Feb-July in the green and August-December in the red.

CBOT futures closed widely mixed with soybeans and soybean oil leading the way higher. Cattle futures mostly closed slightly lower with small gains in the far deferred contracts. Lean hog futures soared higher, capping a 4-day rally to contract highs in the April and beyond contracts.

CBOT futures closed sharply higher and near the day’s highs on a variety of friendly factors. Cattle futures were higher with Live Cattle leading the way. LC were supported by the uptrend in boxed beef values and the general rise in most commodity prices. Lean hog futures closed strongly higher with spring and summer contracts leading the way with May’22 and beyond LH contracts making new contract highs.

Corn and soybean futures closed slightly higher after trading both sides of unchanged, while wheat moved higher on continued short-covering. Cattle futures closed higher with the nearby LC and FC contracts leading the way. Lean hog futures closed slightly lower, making for three straight days moving downward.
