A feature report highlighting Scott and Shea Lowe of Calloway County, selected as one of the three finalists in Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Outstanding Young Farm Family competition. A first generation farmer, Scott started in 2000 leasing two acres to raise dark tobacco on a 50-50 split with a farm neighbor. Today, he and wife, Shea, produce corn, soybeans, tobacco and cattle on 845 acres.
