Dealing with deceased large animals on the farm is a special challenge in a major cattle state like Kentucky. UK Director of Animal and Environmental Compliance, Steve Higgins, says a growing trend in dealing with the problem is large animal composting. The process has been perfected and is approved by state environmental officials.
