Boyd County Farm Bureau celebrates Ag Literacy Week
In observance of the 2018 Kentucky Ag Literacy Week, Alex Young, student teacher and granddaughter of Linda Hardeman, Chair of the Boyd County Farm Bureau Women's Committee, read the book "The Most Wonderful Dream," by Mitchell Tolle, to her class. The students attend first grade at Summit Elementary. They loved the book and enjoyed apple slices after the story.

As Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Centennial Year came to a close in 2019, the Vision 100 Committee was created at the direction of KFB President Mark Haney. This committee, comprised of KFB volunteer leaders from the local level, as well as staff from both the Federation and the Insurance Company, was convened to help guide strategic planning for the future of the entire organization.
