Cole Vaughan Performs at Kentucky Farm Bureau Variety Showcase

 

Louisville, KY (December 1, 2017) – Warren County’s Cole Vaughan performed before a live audience during the November 30 general session of Kentucky Farm Bureau’s (KFB) 98th annual meeting in Louisville. Winner of both the Warren County and District 4 preliminary contests, Vaughan was one of 11 acts invited to perform at the state Variety Showcase. The competition is sponsored annually by KFB to support youth achievement in entertainment.

Vaughan, who sang “Waving Through a Window”, was awarded a $250 check for being named the district winner of the Variety Showcase.

KFB’s District 4 is a regional grouping of Kentucky counties, consisting of: Allen, Barren, Green, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren.

Webster County farmer Eddie Melton was re-elected today to continue serving as President of Kentucky Farm Bureau. Melton has been a member of the organization’s executive committee for 17 years. Also re-elected to their leadership roles are Shane Wiseman of Clark County as First Vice President and Larry Clark of Green County as Second Vice President.
