Cole Vaughan Performs at Kentucky Farm Bureau Variety Showcase

 

Louisville, KY (December 1, 2017) – Warren County’s Cole Vaughan performed before a live audience during the November 30 general session of Kentucky Farm Bureau’s (KFB) 98th annual meeting in Louisville. Winner of both the Warren County and District 4 preliminary contests, Vaughan was one of 11 acts invited to perform at the state Variety Showcase. The competition is sponsored annually by KFB to support youth achievement in entertainment.

Vaughan, who sang “Waving Through a Window”, was awarded a $250 check for being named the district winner of the Variety Showcase.

KFB’s District 4 is a regional grouping of Kentucky counties, consisting of: Allen, Barren, Green, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren.

Tucked into central Kentucky, Boyle County is home to meandering countryside, charming towns, and rich history. The county seat of Danville is known as the Birthplace of Kentucky. In the 1770s, the area’s central location on the “Wilderness Road,” blazed by Daniel Boone, led pioneers through Danville, which became a gathering spot for early settlers and political activity.
