District 4 Farm Bureau Variety Contest was held at Lera B. Mitchell Club House in Glasgow on November 2. District 4 Women's Committee Chairman, Vickie Bryant of Monroe County conducted the meeting. Youth from the 4 District participating in the Variety Contest were seated right to left: Lydia Manley and Jaclyn Batchelor, Logan County(Winners), Emily Stephens, Barren County, Colton and Caton Clark, Green County, standing left to right: Caleb Cline, Simpson County, Isabella Sills, Monroe County, John Mark McElroy, Warren County(Runner-up), and Jerrica Reed, Metcalfe County. Lydia Manley and Jaclyn Batchelor will participate in the Variety Show to be held during the Kentucky Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, December 4-7 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville. Congratulations to Jaclyn and Lydia and all the participants for doing a great job representing their counties.
District 4 Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth Contest was held on November 2 at Lera B. Mitchell Club House in Glasgow with District 4 Women's Chairman, Vickie Bryant conducting the meeting. Youth from District 4 participating in the Outstanding Youth Contest were standing right to left: Rachel Fields, Barren County, Lillian Mae Robertson, Logan County (Winner), Kailey Barlow, Allen County (Runner-Up), Morgan Askins, Warren County, Cassady Wilson, Monroe County and Taylor Pinson, Simpson County. Seated right to left: Thomas Poole, Logan County (Winner), Jared Walden, Allen County, and Nathan Cherry, Warren County, (runner-up).
Lillian Robertson and Thomas Poole will represent District 4 Farm Bureau at the Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth Contest to be held on December 5th during the Kentucky Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in Louisville. Congratulations to all the contestants for a great job representing their counties, and best of luck to Lillian and Thomas at the state level.

Edmonton, KY (May 23, 2013) – Phillip Bryson Keltner, a senior at Metcalfe County High School, is the recipient of a $1,000 college scholarship from Metcalfe County Farm Bureau. This award is one of the 250 college scholarships worth a total of $337,300 that the Metcalfe Farm Bureau, the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation and numerous other individual county Farm Bureaus awarded this year to deserving students from across the Commonwealth.
After graduating, Keltner plans to attend Western Kentucky University to receive a degree in Agriculture with a pre-veterinary medicine concentration. Bryson is the son of Randy and Sherry Keltner, of Edmonton
Farm Bureau scholarships, offered annually, are awarded to recipients who display the greatest levels of academic excellence, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities and financial need.
Metcalfe County Farm Bureau is pleased to present a $1,000 scholarship on behalf of Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation to Ms. Kendra Clark. Kendra is the daughter of Kendall and Susie Clark of Edmonton. Kendra is a senior at Metcalfe County High School, where she is on the basketball, tennis and volleyball teams.
After high school Kendra plans to attend Brigham Young University where she will enroll in the Athletic Training Program. Congratulations Kendra!
