Mercer County student attends Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders: Mercer County high school junior Chance Flach recently returned home from Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders (IFAL). Flach and 43 other high school students from around the state attended the five-day summer leadership conference, held June 11-15 at Murray State University.

Donation to Kendyl & Friends Playground: Mercer County Farm Bureau donated $3,000 to the Kendyl & Friends Playground. This playground is for special needs children to be able to play just like everyone else.

Mercer County Raise Funds for the Freear's Hope Foundation: Mercer County Farm Bureau Women's Committee grew and sold pinkish pumpkins for raise funds for the Freear’s Hope Foundation at the Commonwealth Cancer Center in Danville. This foundation helps patients with rent, food, lodging, utilities etc. They donated over $1,850.

2016 Mercer County Farm Bureau Awards Two Scholarships: Benjamin Todd Pinkston, son of Lee Todd and Aimee Pinkston, received the Mercer County Farm Bureau $1,000 scholarship and he plans on majoring in agricultural at the University of Kentucky.
