2015 Mason County Traveling Book Barn

 

Our Traveling Book Barn made its debut at the Mason County Public Library on July 2 with Farm Bureau members on hand to conduct Story Hour for 55 children and adults. The Book Barn project began as a 2015 Mini Grant from KFB.

Webster County farmer Eddie Melton was re-elected today to continue serving as President of Kentucky Farm Bureau. Melton has been a member of the organization’s executive committee for 17 years. Also re-elected to their leadership roles are Shane Wiseman of Clark County as First Vice President and Larry Clark of Green County as Second Vice President.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation and the Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (KCARD) are proud to announce the launch of KCARD’s Kentucky AgriLegacy Solutions Program, a new effort designed to help Kentucky farm families navigate the farm transition process.
