Marion County students awarded Farm Bureau scholarships
Louisville, KY (July 6, 2018) – Six Marion County students received college scholarships from Marion County Farm Bureau. In partnership with County Farm Bureaus, the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation awarded $465,400 this year to deserving students from across the Commonwealth.
Claire Higdon, Luke Thomas, Chloe May, Nicholas Sandusky, and Victoria Van Dyke, all seniors at Marion County High School, are each the recipient of a $600 scholarship. Alexis Thomas, a student at Western Kentucky University, was awarded a $500 scholarship.
Farm Bureau scholarships, offered annually, are awarded to recipients who display the greatest levels of academic excellence, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities and financial need.
