Harlan County Farm Bureau Annual Tree Giveaway

Harlan County Farm Bureau gave away 1,100 trees as an added service to our Members and the general public. Our members greatly appreciate and take advantage of this member service. Tree types that were given away include Persimmon, Pawpaw, Pecan, White Oak, Mulberry, and Hazelnut. President Dustin Miniard said “We are giving White Oak Trees to help ensure that they have a future in Eastern Kentucky. They are being consumed quickly by the Bourbon Industry. White Oak Trees are an important part of our forest ecosystem.”
