Fair Day at Pine Mountain Settlement School
Harlan County Farm Bureau sponsored Fair Day at Pine Mountain Settlement School. All 14 grand prize exhibit winners received a $25 check from Harlan County Farm Bureau. Categories included: fresh vegetables, canned vegetables, paintings, quilts, wood working, junior class fresh and canned vegetables and many more. Our Young Farmer team set up a tent and talked with Fair Day goers about Farm Bureau benefits and services.

Webster County farmer Eddie Melton was re-elected today to continue serving as President of Kentucky Farm Bureau. Melton has been a member of the organization’s executive committee for 17 years. Also re-elected to their leadership roles are Shane Wiseman of Clark County as First Vice President and Larry Clark of Green County as Second Vice President.
