2017 Scholarship Receipent

 

For over 30 years the Garrard County Farm Bureau Federation has offered a college scholarship to high school seniors. This year’s recipient was Mary Katherine Oberman, who will attend Centre College in the fall and major in Biochemistry.  Mary Katherine is the daughter of Tyler and Tawnya Oberman of Lancaster.

Webster County farmer Eddie Melton was re-elected today to continue serving as President of Kentucky Farm Bureau. Melton has been a member of the organization’s executive committee for 17 years. Also re-elected to their leadership roles are Shane Wiseman of Clark County as First Vice President and Larry Clark of Green County as Second Vice President.
