Floyd County Farm Bureau Women's Committee Recognizes Ag Literacy Week at Local School

The Floyd County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee purchased copies of the American Farm Bureau Federation’s book of the year, “How To Grow a Monster” along with the educator guides.  The women read the books to students in elementary classes at the local schools and discussed the importance of agriculture.  After reading, the books and educator guides were presented to the school for use in their library.  The students also enjoyed snacks and were given their own package of seeds to take home and grow their own monster.
