Boyd County Farm Bureau just celebrated Food Check-Out Week February 16-22, 2014. We visited Foodfair Market on Blackburn in Ashland and talked with some customers in recognition of Food Check-Out Week. We let them know how America’s Farmers are the most productive and efficient in the world by providing us with an ample supply of safe and affordable food. Farmers help feed our community, state, nation and other people from around the world with the goods they produce. The cashiers at Foodfair and both insurance offices passed out the promotional cards so everyone could and learn more about Food Check-Out Week. President William David Horn joined in to help us celebrate. Boyd County Farm Bureau sends out a “BIG THANK YOU” to our Farmers and Agriculture. Additional history information on Food Check-Out Week in available on American Farm Bureau Federation website.
