Allen County Farm Bureau Delivers Fruit and Nuts to Local Members

 

John Jones was happy to pick up his box of fruit, chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven and hot chocolate that are also part of the fruit-delivery tradition!

 

Fruit delivery is a fun day for local Farm Bureau members. Each year the Allen County Farm Bureau Board sells to members at cost fresh fruit and nuts from Florida Farm Bureau - - - these members helped unload fruit from the semi.

Webster County farmer Eddie Melton was re-elected today to continue serving as President of Kentucky Farm Bureau. Melton has been a member of the organization’s executive committee for 17 years. Also re-elected to their leadership roles are Shane Wiseman of Clark County as First Vice President and Larry Clark of Green County as Second Vice President.
