Observing Ag Day

Daniel Smith and other Farm Bureau members read a book about "How Corn Grows" to a first grade class at Garth Elementary in observance of Ag Day. The books were then given to the school library.

Scott Couty Farm Bureau presented three scholarships valued at $1000 to recent high school graduates. They include William Matlock, Courtney Baldwin and Kendall Mallory.

SCFB Annual Meeting

The "Bullshippers" provided entertainment at the 2008 annual meeting.


Scott County Farm Bureau was honored to have KYFB Executive Vice President David Beck (far left) at our 2008 Annual Meeting.

Young Farmers

Attending the 2009 Young Farmers Summer Outing in Bowling Green were Daniel, Alison and Creighton Smith; James Lyons and Alvin and Debbie Lyons. As part of the entertainment, YF attended a Bowling Green HotRod Minor League baseball game.

James Lyons (Right) ,Scott County, receives the State Young Farmers Scholarship from Greg Harris, Madison County, Kentucky Farm Bureau Young Farmers Chair, at the recent Summer Outing of Kentucky Young Farmers held in Bowling Green, Ky. Youth Livestock Sale

David Jacobs, Farm Bureau President, center, congratulates Allison Fister, left, with her FFA Grand Champion Goat and Lindsey Farmer with her FFA Grand Champion Lamb. The Farm Bureau was high bidder on these two animals at the Sscsott County 4-H and FFA Youth Livestock Show and Sale.
