Mason County students awarded Farm Bureau scholarships

Nine Mason County students received college scholarships from Mason County Farm Bureau. Blaine Pumpelly (Maysville), Chloe Pumpelly (Maysville), Mandie Appleman (Germantown), Sage Kinney (Maysville), Jaclyn Poe (Maysville), Bryce Johnson (Maysville), Christian Kalb (Maysville), Kaleigh Zeigler (Maysville), and Elizabeth Moss (Maysville) each received a $1,000 scholarship.

Author and Illustrator Visited Mason County School: Author and Illustrator Mitchell Tolle visited Mason County Intermediate School for National Ag Week.

Mason County Attends the 2018 Legislative Drive-in and Food Check-out Day: Kentucky Farm Bureau held its annual Legislative Drive-In in Frankfort on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. During the Drive-In, Farm Bureau members met with their state senators and representatives and advocated on behalf of agriculture.

Mason County Farm Bureau Selected as an Exhibitor at American Farm Bureau's Annual Convention: Mason County Farm Bureau was one of two Kentucky counties selected as exhibitors at the American Farm Bureau Annual Convention.

Farm Field Day in Mason County: Mason County Farm Bureau directors prepared for Farm Field Day with the sixth graders of Mason County May 29 at Croppers Greenhouse in Mayslick. 180 students enjoyed learning about livestock, bees, horticulture, crops and even got to milk Greenup Gertie!

2015 Mason County Traveling Book Barn: Our Traveling Book Barn made its debut at the Mason County Public Library on July 2 with Farm bureau members on hand to conduct Story Hour for 55 children and adults.
