Annual Meeting
The Fleming County Farm Bureau will be hosting its annual membership meeting on August 10, 2007 at 6:00 pm at the Fleming County Industrial Park. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event at the Fleming Co Farm Bureau Office.


Congressional Tour

Farm Safety Day
Fleming County Farm Bureau helps sponsor a Farm Safety Day for area youth at the Fleming County High School.


Field Day
Fleming County Farm Bureau sponsors local Field Days in Fleming Co.


Outstanding Youth & Variety
Fleming Co Farm Bureau will host an Outstanding Youth & Variety Contest at Lowe’s Lake on September 10, 2007. Applications can be picked up at the Fleming Co Farm Bureau Office.


Roadside Farm Markets
We support our local Roadside Farm Markets.


Scholarships
Fleming County Farm Bureau awards scholarships on an annual basis, funded by our local members. This year's recipients were Michelle Fryman, Wes Robinson, Lauren Cannon and Justin Hester. Receiving the Clint Meadows Memorial Scholarship was Sadie Jackson.


Lending Program
Fleming Co Farm Bureau has a Foremost head chute with scales for local beef dairy producers to use. Call the Fleming Co Extension Office for more details at 606-845-4641.


Anne's Project
Anne's Project is a project to empower farm women to be better business partners through networks and by managing and organizing critical information. It is available to farm women in Fleming, Mason, Robertson, Bracken & Lewis Counties starting in November. Please contact the Fleming Co Extension Office at 606-845-4641 for further information and a registration form.


Theft Reward
A $5,000 reward is offered for information leading to conviction of anyone committing theft, arson, vandalism or insurance fraud on a Farm Bureau member's property. Posting a special sign on the property activates the protection.


Estate Planning
Specialists help Farm Bureau members solve inheritance tax problems, saving farms or businesses for future generations. Meetings can be scheduled for small groups by contacting local Farm Bureau insurance agency managers.
