Washing and Storage Tips
For summer varieties, rinse under cool water before using. Refrigerate in a perforated bag and are best used within 4-5 days. For winter varieties, wipe the outside clean before storing. Rinse cut pieces under water before cooking. Store whole squash in a cool, dark place. Will keep for weeks to months depending on the variety.
