National Ag in the Classroom - Kentucky Farm Bureau

National Ag in the Classroom

Kentucky is excited to be hosting the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Louisville, June 16-20 at the Galt House Hotel. This is a unique opportunity for Kentucky teachers to take part in a professional development opportunity like no other. In lieu of our traditional Kentucky Farm Bureau Regional Teacher Workshops, we are encouraging educators from throughout the state to take advantage of this event. Our Regional Workshops will again be available in 2016.

The National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference includes engaging presentations, tours, keynote speakers, and networking which will provide exceptional learning opportunities for teachers. It will increase your comfort level in agricultural topics and also spark ideas for integrating agricultural content into instruction to meet academic standards in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Math, and Health/Nutrition.

In order to help offset expenses, Kentucky Farm Bureau is offering a scholarship opportunity for Kentucky teachers. There are a limited number of scholarships available so timeliness is important. Please see the conference registration form and scholarship application.
