CBOT futures closed moderately higher with corn and soybeans finishing the day near the highs; futures drifted higher throughout the day. Cattle futures were little changed at the close, ending up mid-range.  Lean hog futures closed slightly higher except August LH gained $1.17/cwt.

CBOT futures closed widely mixed with wheat higher and corn/soybeans lower. Live cattle closed slightly lower while feeders were higher beyond the August and September FC contracts. Lean hog futures closed higher as the market turned around from Monday’s selloff.
