Market Closes - March 18, 2021
March 18, 2021: CBOT futures closed sharply lower and near the day’s lows as outside markets’ bearishness weighed across the board. Live and feeder cattle futures traded very wide ranges today and closed sharply lower in tandem with the CBOT and other markets. Lean hog futures saw April close up but the rest of the LH contracts ended much lower. Energy futures collapsed today and U.S. equity prices closed sharply lower.

Market Closes - March 17, 2021
March 17, 2021: CBOT futures closed mostly lower with old-crop corn bucking the trend. Cattle futures closed higher with both LC and FC ending near the day’s highs. Lean hog futures closed higher and at new contract highs on continued strong pork demand.
