North American International Livestock Exposition Approved to Hold 2020 Show

The North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) was approved through the Kentucky Healthy at Work initiative to host a modified show this year. NAILE is the largest all-breed, purebred livestock exposition in the world and runs Nov. 3-19, 2020 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

It is no secret that tobacco production has been on the decline for several years and for a number of reasons, including waning consumer use of tobacco products. As more and more tobacco users turn away from its usage, one Kentucky company is looking at this very traditional crop for use in a very non-traditional way – as a possible means to combat the COVID-19 virus.

CBOT futures closed mostly higher by small amounts. Cattle futures closed mixed with the 2020 contracts mostly lower. Lean hog futures closed sharply lower and generally within 50 cents of the day’s lows. Milk futures closed higher for the second straight day with the June Milk contract $3.00/cwt above its April lows.
