The Kentucky Farm Bureau Resolutions Committee will begin to narrow down more than 1,000 potential resolutions Wednesday, November 6.  First Vice President Eddie Melton, who chairs the resolutions committee, talks about the policy development process that begins at the local level and ends at the annual meeting in December.

Kentucky’s only ethanol plant, Commonwealth Agri Energy, is producing a record amount of fuel ethanol and other co-products following a recent expansion.  General Manager Mick Henderson discussed the growth of the facility, the increased production and other details as he presented the annual report to the Hopkinsville Elevator Cooperative this month.

Today’s program discusses the lessons portrayed in the movie and talks about another movie that Goldberg is looking to produce that shares the story of a rescuer and a second movie that will spotlight stress on the farm.

Movie Producer Sam Goldberg was in Kentucky Saturday, October 12, for the screening of the movie “The Silo” that details the story of a grain rescue on a Kentucky Farm.  Goldberg talks about making the movie, the lessons he hopes the movie shows and efforts to have it screened in every farming community across the country.
