The National Farm Machinery Show has become a tradition for many people who have been attending for a number of years.  Kentucky Exposition Center Communications Director Ian Cox says this year’s show will feature product introductions, renewing of acquaintances, competitive tractor pulls and a different way to celebrate Valentines day.

After meeting the 2019-2020 Kentucky Farm Bureau Lead Class Thursday, class facilitator Jackson Tolle talks about the initial meeting of the class in January and their participation in the Kentucky Farm Bureau Congressional Tour in February  Tolle also talks about what the class will do in year two, including the class out-of-state trip that will be planned during the next year and a half.

The Kentucky Department of Agriculture issued a record number of industrial hemp permits that allows a record acreage to be grown.  Kentucky Ag Commissioner Ryan Quarles talks about the number of permits, the acreage, the number of potential new industrial manufacturers and writing new regulations following the 2018 Farm Bill signing.
