County Scholarships


Daviess County Farm Bureau Federation provides (3) different scholarships to Farm Bureau Members:

  • Daviess County Farm Bureau Scholarship, $1,000 to a student of a Daviess County Farm Bureau member. (Paid over two semesters)
  • Daviess County Farm Bureau Insurance Agents Scholarship, $1,000 to a student of a Daviess County Farm Bureau member. (Paid over two semesters)
  • Tom Curtsinger Scholarship, $1,000 to a student of a Daviess County Farm Bureau member pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field or they are the child of a farm family. (Paid over two semesters)

ELIGIBILITY

  • have either a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or a minimum 19 ACT score
  • be the child of a Daviess County Farm Bureau member and remain such, while the scholarship is in force
  • finish high school within the year they apply for the scholarship
  • for the Tom Curtsinger scholarship, applicant must major in agriculture or a related field or they are the child of a farm family.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications must be postmarked by February 28, 2014.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation will award 83 county and state college scholarships to high school seniors for the current school year. Scholarships may be applied to tuition, housing, books and other educational expenses. Payments will be made directly to the college or university of your choice. All available scholarships are listed on the back of this application. This and other scholarship applications may be downloaded at kyfb.com/scholarships.

To be eligible, applicant must:

  • have either a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or a minimum 23 ACT score
  • be the child of a Kentucky Farm Bureau member and remain such while the scholarship is in force
  • finish high school within the year they apply for the scholarship
  • for the Leadership in Agriculture Scholarship, applicant’s parents must be actively engaged in production agriculture

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications must be postmarked by February 28, 2014.
