Bullitt County Young Farmers will award one $1,000 scholarship for the current school year. The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a degree at a college, university, Kentucky vocational or technical institute. An applicant taking a course of study relating to agriculture will be given priority. Scholarship may be applied to tuition, housing, books, etc. Payments are made directly to the student upon proof of enrollment.
To be eligible, applicants must:
-have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
-be the child of a Bullitt County Farm Bureau member family during the previous year and remain such while the scholarship is in force
-finish high school within the year they apply for the scholarship
-be a senior at a Bullitt County High School
Bullitt County Farm Bureau will award 4 scholarships to high school seniors for the current school year. One of these scholarships will be designated for a student specifically pursuing an agriculture or ag-related career. Scholarships may be applied to tuition, housing, books, and other educational expenses.
