The annual Burlington Hometown Christmas again visits downtown Burlington on Friday December 7th with the arrival of Santa Claus at the Courthouse Gazebo at 6:30 p.m. There will be the usual doughnuts and hot chocolate, pictures, Burlington Baptist Church Live Nativity, etc.
The shops and restaurants will be open and the merchants of Burlington look forward to seeing another great crowd between Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.

Here are scenes from the annual Boone County Farm Bureau "Legislative Appreciation Picnic".
This yearly event welcomes all our lawmakers on the local, state, and federal level to come together with our Directors and other interested persons to thank these legislators for their support of Farm Bureau issues.
We always have a good turnout including KY Farm Bureau President Mark Haney and other members from the state office, and we are honored by the commitment of our lawmakers to join us to thank them and also to keep them informed of upcoming issues.

The KY Farm Bureau Reward Program will pay $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) committing theft, vandalism, arson, or insurance fraud on members' property with sign posted.
This theft resulted in the arrest and conviction of 2 persons taking property from a Farm Bureau member.
Free reward signs and stickers are available to members at the county Farm Bureau office in Burlington.
