Howl-O-Ween Adoptathon
  • October 23, 2010

The first Howl-O-Ween Adoptathon put on in conjunction with the Historic Burlington Business Association was a "howling" success!

Several pets were adopted either from the Boone County Animal Shelter or one of the Rescue Organizations that also participated. Yours truly Mike Crane, thanks to Mrs. Crane, is now the owner of two rescued parakeets.

The event was a lot of fun and estimates of numbers suggest some 200+ people attended between the displays, the costume parade, and the costume contests. Look for this again next year in Downtown Burlington.
