County Farm Bureaus support every community in the Commonwealth through information, products and service programs including: Women's Leadership Activities, Ag in the Classroom, Commodity Market Information, Scholarships, Certified Roadside Farm Markets and our Young Farmers program. Harlan County 4-H Reality Store: Harlan County Farm Bureau Young Farmers volunteered at the 4-H Reality Store at the Harlan Depot. 350 freshman students attended the Reality Store and learned what it's like to pay bills in real life.

Fair Day at Pine Mountain Settlement School: Harlan County Farm Bureau sponsored Fair Day at Pine Mountain Settlement School.

2017 Harlan County Farm Bureau Communication Award: The 2017 Harlan County Farm Bureau’s Communication Award was presented to Bethany Moore who works for the Harlan Daily Enterprise.

Harlan County Farm Bureau's Annual Picnic and Legislative Appreciation Event: Harlan County Farm Bureau’s Annual Picnic and Legislative Appreciation Event was held on August 19th, 2017 at the Harlan County Farm Bureau building.

Harlan County Poke Sallet Festival: Harlan County Farm Bureau was a $1,000 Gold Sponsor of the Harlan County Poke Sallet Festival.

Harlan County Farm Bureau's Annual Tree Giveaway: Harlan County Farm Bureau’s Annual Tree Giveaway was a great benefit to our members. We gave away 1,200 trees over two days.

2017 Harlan County Scholarship Recipients: Harlan County Farm Bureau Federation presented 5 graduating seniors with a $1500 scholarship.

Harlan County Student Attends Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders: Harlan County High School junior Breana Madison recently returned home from Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders (IFAL).

Harlan County Farm Bureau Wins Kentucky Farm Bureau County Activities of Excellence Award: Harlan County Farm Bureau (HCFB) won the American Farm Bureau County Activities of Excellence award, and so we automatically won the Kentucky Farm Bureau County Activities of Excellence Award. At the Kentucky Farm Bureau Annual Convention in Louisville, Harlan County Farm Bureau showcased their new innovative program called Forestry Days.

Harlan County Farm Bureau Wins AFBF County Activities of Excellent Award.: Harlan County Farm Bureau (HCFB) was the only county in Kentucky to win the American Farm Bureau County Activities of Excellent Award.

Harlan County Farm Bureau Gives Away a Brand New 40" Smart TV: Harlan County Farm Bureau gave away a brand new 40” smart TV to one of its members, Reed and Betty Brown of Totz.
