RELEASE
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY: Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance, Kentucky Cattlemen’s
Association and Central Farm Supply of Kentucky purchased the Kentucky
State Fair Reserve Grand Champion Steer for $19,000.
The steer, a 1,322-pound Angus mix, was exhibited by Taylor Stevenson-Tolle
at the Sale of Champions.
Taylor is a member of the Spencer County 4-H and FFA. She is also active
in cheerleading, gymnastics, and crafts. She is the daughter of Marc Renee
and Brent Tolle.
The Sale of Champions auctioned six animals, including steers, hogs and
market lambs, raising a total of $94,750.
Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance, the Cattlemen and Central Farm Supply
will donate the proceeds of the Reserve Grand Champion Steer purchase
to the 4-H and FFA organizations.
