The Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation, in conjunction with Murray State University and the University of Kentucky, work together to sponsor the week-long activities of IFAL. You will meet and interact with Farm Bureau and university staff, college faculty and student leaders from these groups.

High school students who are completing their junior year in 2008 and who are among the top well-rounded students in their class are eligible to attend IFAL. Participants will be selected by their County Farm Bureau Board of Directors with the assistance of school personnel and/or youth group advisors. Students selected to participate should have an interest in furthering their education at the post-secondary level.

Students will be given the option of attending one of two conferences held in June 2008:

IFAL Conference #1
June 15-19, 2008
(Sunday - Thursday)
Murray State University, Murray

IFAL Conference #2
June 22-26, 2008
(Sunday - Thursday)
University of Kentucky, Lexington

The cost to attend IFAL is $250 per participant to be paid by the County Farm Bureau or sponsoring organization..

In order to be considered for the program, applications must be completed and returned to your County Farm Bureau by April 18.
