The Women's Committee serves a vital role in Fayette County Farm Bureau's
activities. Committee members work on the following four goals and
encourage all women involved in agriculture to do the same:
- Develop leadership skills in our professions and communities
while networking with a wide range of women's and agricultural
organizations.
- Lobby legislators and staff at all levels of government on issues
that affect agriculture, environment, and community well-being.
- Educate urban citizens about agricultural issues, food production,
rural quality of life, and the economic impact of farmers on our
communities.
- Sponsor outreach programs that enable diverse citizens to co-exist
in a way that allows them to fully contribute to our community
and benefit from local resources.
